Marvin Humes

Marvin Humes was born on March 18’ 1985 in Greenwich, London. His father is Jamaican, and his mother is Anglo-Scottish. He is also the middle child of two brothers, Leon and Jackson, He is now married Rochelle Wiseman but now called Rochelle Humes. Marvin Humes was bullied in school for wearing glasses. Humes is known for his singing and for his place in the X Factor as he and three others made a group called JLS. The group formed in 2006 and ended in 2013. After the band split up, Humes began hosting his own radio show on the Capital Network in March 2013, the show was aired on a Friday and Saturday evening. He now hosts his own show on Capital airing Monday through to Saturday, from 7pm to 10pm. Humes made his television presenting debut on the 23rd of August 2013 when he co-presented ITV’s This Morning with his wife Rochelle Humes, the couple have since become regular stand-in presenters. Since 2013, Humes has become a regular reporter. Humes then announced that he had formed a dance group on the 23rd of July 2014, the dance group featured The White N3RD & JKAY called LuvBug. They were officially signed to Polydor Records and their first single, ‘Resonance’ featuring Talay Riley, was released on October 5th 2014. It charted to number thirteen on the week of October 13th 2014.
